Job description

Regional Sales Manager (Northwest U.S.)


Can be based within the following regions: WA, OR , ID, MT


We are seeking an experienced RSM drive growth across the Northwest U.S. by selling engineered systems, capital equipment, industrial automation, material handling, waste processing, and integrated facility solutions. This role combines consultative selling with technical expertise to develop customized solutions that improve customer productivity, efficiency, and cost performance.

The ideal candidate has experience selling complex industrial equipment, engineered systems, or capital projects and can manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through project handoff.


Responsibilities


  • Manage and grow a Northwest U.S. territory, developing a strong pipeline of industrial and capital equipment opportunities.
  • Identify and secure new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
  • Lead the sales process including discovery, solution development, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Evaluate customer operations and develop engineered solutions involving conveyors, compactors, recycling systems, material handling equipment, and related industrial machinery.
  • Conduct site assessments, technical presentations, and facility evaluations.
  • Develop ROI and cost-benefit analyses to justify capital investments and demonstrate operational value.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, and service teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to support business growth.


Qualifications


  • Experience in capital equipment, engineered systems, industrial equipment, automation, or technical sales.
  • Proven track record managing complex sales opportunities and closing high-value projects.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial processes and system integration.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings and engineering documentation; CAD familiarity preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's or Technical degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field preferred
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southeast U.S. while working remotely from your home.
