Regional RN Consultant

CareRite Centers – Westchester Region
Full-Time
Salary: Up to $175,000 per year

Drive Clinical Excellence Across Multiple Skilled Nursing Communities

CareRite Centers is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional RN Consultant to provide clinical leadership and operational support throughout our Westchester County skilled nursing and rehabilitation communities.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned nursing leader who is passionate about quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, staff development, and supporting nursing teams in achieving excellence in resident care. The Regional RN Consultant will partner closely with facility leadership teams, Directors of Nursing, and Administrators to strengthen clinical performance and ensure regulatory readiness across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical oversight and support to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within the Westchester region.

  • Partner with Directors of Nursing and facility leadership to improve quality measures and clinical outcomes.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including hospital readmissions, infection prevention, staffing, and quality metrics.

  • Assist facilities in preparing for and successfully navigating state and federal surveys.

  • Conduct clinical audits and identify opportunities for performance improvement.

  • Support implementation of company-wide clinical initiatives, policies, and best practices.

  • Mentor and develop nursing leadership teams, including Directors of Nursing, ADONs, Unit Managers, and Supervisors.

  • Assist with regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal requirements.

  • Review and monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance.

  • Participate in leadership meetings and provide strategic recommendations to improve resident care and operational performance.

  • Assist with recruitment, retention, and development of nursing leadership staff.

  • Support facilities during transitions, leadership vacancies, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting.

  • Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Regional Nurse Consultant, Clinical Consultant, or similar leadership role strongly preferred.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, infection prevention, quality measures, and long-term care operations.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Westchester region.

  • Proven track record of improving clinical outcomes and maintaining regulatory compliance.
