A leadership opportunity is available for a Manager of Regional Pharmacy overseeing pharmacy operations across multiple sites within a healthcare system. The role focuses on operational management, financial performance, quality initiatives, and system-wide collaboration.
Location:

  • Based in Janesville, Wisconsin, with assigned accountability for regional pharmacy sites.
Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday with 24/7 on-call accountability.
Position Type:
  • Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational leadership and oversight for assigned pharmacy locations in partnership with system pharmacy leadership.
  • Assist in planning and implementing hospital pharmacy procedures aligned with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate on budgeting, performance analysis, and development of solutions that enhance pharmacy services.
  • Establish strong communication channels with medical staff and hospital departments to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Work with pharmacy information systems to develop management and inventory control programs.
  • Participate in various committees including Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, Information Systems, Patient Medication Safety, and Nursing/Pharmacy.
  • Manage human resource aspects such as hiring, staff development, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
  • Ensure pharmacy operations meet targets for productivity, budget, staff engagement, and patient outcomes.
  • Perform all duties typical of a pharmacy manager and other assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • PharmD degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration or comparable experience.
  • Minimum of five years in supervisory or management roles within pharmacy.
  • Active Wisconsin pharmacist license required.
