We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Durham, NC branch. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone with a strong background in branch-based industrial services and a proven ability to manage both the financial performance and operational excellence of a service location.
You'll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations while building a positive, engaged, and high-performing team. Experience working in a DOT-regulated industry is a big plus.

What You'll Do
Operational & Safety Leadership
  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations including field services, fleet maintenance, and facility management.
  • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring strict adherence to DOT, DEP, and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational efficiencies to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a skilled team while promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Financial Management
  • Manage branch P&L, budgets, and operational plans to meet revenue and profit targets.
  • Track operational costs, monitor labor hours, and manage capital expenditures to maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership on financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Customer Service & Growth
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Partner with the sales team to support new business opportunities and service expansions.
  • Analyze operational challenges, identify solutions, and implement process improvements to support growth.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of operations management experience in an industrial services, environmental, or related branch-based business; including P&L management with a successful track record of driving profitability.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance, particularly in a DOT-regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in O365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and or Salesforce a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $115,000 - $140,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
