Summary
The Regional Head of Supply Chain Solutions is responsible for setting the product strategy, enabling customers to strengthen their market leadership by delivering advanced Order Management, Freight Management and Supply Chain Analytics solutions. By combining digital innovation with operational excellence, the role drives measurable business value through improved efficiency, sustainability, and competitive advantage across global supply chains.


Duties and Responsibilities
   Ensure team continuity and stability
   Provide senior leadership and direction within a complex supply chain / logistics environment
   Translate strategy into tangible operational and commercial outcomes
   Act as a credible counterpart to senior stakeholders (regional, divisional, and customer side)
   Drive sustained performance improvement and professionalization of processes and governance
   Lead end to end oversight of supply chain / logistics activities within the AMERICAS (including LATAM) regional scope
   Own or sponsor strategic initiatives (e.g. solutions, transformations, service improvements)
   Align commercial intent with operational feasibility and execution
   Govern priorities, risks, and dependencies across operations, solutions, IT, and partners
   Represent the function in senior internal forums and customer discussions
   Ensure robust handover, continuity, succession planning, and decision frameworks are in place


Skills & Competencies
   Commercial drive, accountable for driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and customer retention by positioning
   Proven capability at senior management level, combining strategy and execution
   Strong background in solution development, transformation, or complex implementations
   Experience operating in large, matrix driven, global organizations
   Ability to balance regional specifics (US) with global standards and governance
   Strategic yet pragmatic: able to set direction and still stay close to execution
   High level of credibility and composure when engaging senior stakeholders
   Structured, disciplined, and strong in prioritization and decision making
   Resilient and calm under pressure, especially in change environments
   Collaborative leader who builds trust across functions and cultures

Educational background / Work experience / Qualifications
   Deep experience in logistics (15+ years), freight forwarding, and international supply chain management
   Previous experience in a managerial position 

Language Skills 
   Business fluent in English
   Preferably good command of local language

Computer Literacy
   Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others) 

Physical and/or Mental Requirements / Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand.  The employee is often required to walk and use hand and eye coordination.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.   

Work Hours and Environment
Normal working hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, however, working beyond these hours will often be required by business needs.

This means that an employee may be terminated for any reason, or no reason at all, at any time, provided the discharge does not violate any law*. For this position, the expected base pay is: $190,500 - $254,000 / Annual.  Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
