LifeWorks is seeking a Regional Finance Manager to support a portfolio of small and mid-sized accounts across our East and West regions. The Regional Finance Manager serves as a strategic finance partner to operations and business leaders, providing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and insight that drive operational performance and long-term decision-making. This role bridges regional operational finance support with enterprise-level FP&A responsibilities, ensuring financial discipline, accurate forecasting, strong controls, and continuous performance improvement 

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be located in the Central or Mountain time zones to best support regional operations.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $140,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including revenue projections, expense forecasting, capital expenditures, and target setting in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate monthly projections and rolling forecasts; analyze variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, business planning, and strategic initiatives.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Oversee month-end close coordination and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform detailed variance, trend, and profitability analyses across revenue, labor, food/direct costs, overhead, and EBIT.
  • Identify underperforming locations or business units and perform root cause analysis, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior leadership and operations teams.

Business Partnership & Operational Support

  • Partner closely with regional operations leaders and department heads to improve profitability through revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Support operations with financial insights related to pricing, staffing, productivity, and contract performance.
  • Participate in client meetings, quarterly business reviews, and budget presentations as a financial subject-matter expert.
  • Provide analytical support for new business opportunities, client retention efforts, proformas, and investment evaluations.

Cost Management & Process Improvement

  • Monitor costs and expenses, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements while supporting operational objectives.
  • Continuously improve financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes, systems, and tools to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
  • Ensure consistent application of financial metrics and best practices across regions or business units.

Compliance, Controls & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, contractual requirements, and regulatory policies.
  • Support internal, external, and government audits as required.
  • Oversee invoicing related to business unit contracts, accounts receivable collections, inventory management, and capital expenditures to optimize cash flow.

Training, Mentorship & Leadership

  • Train and mentor operations managers, analysts, and unit bookkeepers on financial systems, reporting, and financial accountability.
  • Promote financial literacy and stronger decision-making across operational teams.'
  • Ensure financial data integrity and adherence to reporting standards.

Special Projects & Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Lead or support special projects requiring advanced financial and statistical analysis.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and executive-level analyses for senior management, supporting historical, current, and forward-looking evaluations.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into clear recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • MBA, Master's degree, or professional certification (CPA, CFA) a plus.
  • Experience supporting operational or multi-location environments.
  • Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar platforms.
  • Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business partnering.
