Job description

Position: Regional Field Install Technician

Location: Regional / Nationwide Travel (U.S. & Canada)

Schedule: Full-Time Travel Role

Job Description

Our customer is seeking a Regional Field Install Technician to support a large conveyor handling organization. This individual will primarily support customers in the food manufacturing industry by performing conveyor belt installations, troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting inspections, and providing technical support and training.

Their day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting and promoting low-tension polymer conveyor belt applications
  • Coordinating and performing conveyor belt installations within customer facilities
  • Troubleshooting and resolving conveyor system and installation issues in the field
  • Serving as a technical resource for customers and internal sales teams
  • Conducting conveyor inspections and identifying opportunities for operational improvements
  • Preparing and communicating recommendations through verbal and written reports
  • Delivering onsite customer training and technical assistance
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and account managers
  • Traveling extensively throughout North America, including short-notice travel, nights, and weekends
  • Maintaining service vehicles, tools, and equipment in a safe and professional manner
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction goals

Required Skills & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of manufacturing, mechanical, agricultural, or related hands-on experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience working with processing equipment, conveying systems, or industrial machinery
  • Customer-service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 80% throughout the United States and Canada
  • Ability to work independently and directly with customers in field environments

Compensation

Pay: $30/hr - $35/hr + Bonus Incentives ~ low six figures
