Position Summary:
Seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager who loves to operate independently and has a proven track record of driving revenue growth through coaching and empowerment of their team.
The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in the building materials construction industry, particularly within the multi-family and residential high rise segments, and/or strong relationships within the construction community.
Major Job Functions:
  • Coach and mentor the sales force
Create a culture of ongoing personal development to enhance sales team’s product knowledge and soft skills.
Key measurements: Participation, customer call completion, sales closure rates, product knowledge. [35%]
  • Maintain key customer relationships and work in conjunction with the Marketing team to develop customer solutions, localized marketing initiatives, and customer events that leverage the 4P’s of marketing: Product, Price, Place and Promotion
Key measurement(s): Market share, revenue, and profitability [30%]
  • Provide ongoing market outlook projections & establish corresponding sales coverage: Understand regional market in terms of product sales potential, industry segmentation, competitors and develop a sales coverage model that maximizes sales and profit in line with regional objectives.
Key measurement(s): 90 day forecast accuracy, effective sales coverage structure [20%]
  • Miscellaneous Business Matters: manage other areas of the business as they relate to sales profitability and growth, e.g.: commissions, safety, policy administration, reporting, HR matters, etc.. [15%]
