What is a regional coding manager?

Regional Coding Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the medical coding processes across multiple healthcare facilities within a specific geographic region. They ensure coding accuracy, compliance with regulations, and consistency in medical record documentation. Their duties often include managing coding staff, implementing training programs, auditing coding work, and collaborating with other healthcare administrators to improve coding efficiency and quality.
