Your Role:ย ย 

The Regional Business Manager is responsible for managing a team of Therapeutic Sales Specialists ("TSSs") within a particular geographic area, ensuring consistent execution of a targeted business plan that meets or exceeds established market share targets and is aligned with Company and Brand strategies. This role is responsible for recruiting, developing, and motivating a high-performing sales team while maintaining strong hiring and productivity standards. You will partner closely with Marketing, Market Access, Sales Training, the Senior Area Business Director, and fellow Regional Business Managers to achieve regional and area objectives.ย 

This is a field-based role, covering our Southern California region.ย ย 

ย 

Your Responsibilities:ย 

  • Drives and ensures Region sales execution of the Company/Brand strategies and plans to achieve sustainable sales results.ย 

  • Utilize a deep understanding of the biologics market, patient journey and payer needs; sets expectations for team and ensures cross-functional account planning and customer engagement strategy is implemented and monitored.ย 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Therapeutic Sales Specialists through regular field coaching, feedback, and partner with representatives to develop action steps for continuous improvement of selling skills, product knowledge and sales competencies.ย 

  • Ensures a robust succession plan by Identifying high potential TSSs within the team and preparing them for future growth/success; facilitates participation in developmental activities and opportunities for greater visibility.ย ย 

  • Regularly analyze sales and operational data to identify trends, track performance, and implement actions that maximize effectiveness and efficiency.ย 

  • Address performance opportunities proactively and partner with leadership and Human Resources to ensure documentation is prepared in a timely manner and adheres to company guidelines.ย 

  • Establish and develop relationships with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Market Access, Medical, and Sales Training.ย 

  • Prepares for and participates in National/Regional POA's and conducts regular sales meetings/teleconferences to ensure timely communication exchange; contributes to commercial planning sessions by representing the needs of customers and sales team and drivingย 

Your Qualifications:ย 

  • Bachelor's Degree required; sales/marketing or science related discipline preferred.ย ย 

  • Requires 5-7 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience; three (3)+ years management experience required.ย ย 

  • Dermatology, Specialty or Immunology experience required; selling sub-cutaneous self-injectable (or office administered IC) biologics experience required.ย 

  • Experience managing in a complex reimbursement, challenging product access environment inclusive of specialty pharmacy distributed medicines.ย 

  • Documented record of accomplishment and success in sales.ย ย 

  • Knowledge of marketing, Market Access and pharma economic principles.ย 

  • Excellent computer skills; strong knowledge of excel/sales reporting software, along with Ability to effectively analyze and interpret data.ย 

  • Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence; in addition must possess and maintain satisfactory driving record.ย 

  • Must live within or reasonably close to Region geography boundaries and able to travel within and external to assigned Region; some nights, weekends and overnight travel may be required.ย

Your New Team:ย 

Reporting to the Senior Area Business Director, you will lead a team of Therapeutic Sales Specialists and collaborate closely with Regional Business Managers, cross-functional field teams, and home office colleagues to achieve business objectives and support talent development. You'll also build strong relationships with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders across the region, helping to drive customer engagement and business success.ย 

Compensation:ย ย 

The base salary range for this position is $185,000 - $220,000 per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.ย
