Job description

To apply for this position, please email your resume and cover letter to careers@sepulvedalawgroup.com.

In the subject line of the email, please write "Business Development & Community Outreach Manager Position".

We are hiring a field-oriented business-development professional to expand the firm's referral network, community presence and strategic relationships throughout Central and Southern California. This person will create new relationships, make high-quality introductions to the CEO, represent the firm at legal and community events and help convert approved opportunities into accepted signed matters.

This is a relationship-development position for someone who thrives in a role which combines networking with disciplined follow-up, CRM management, event planning, intake coordination and measurable pipeline accountability.

The successful candidate will build relationships on behalf of the firm, not as a personal book of business. Qualified contacts will be introduced to the CEO and other firm leaders so trust, knowledge and follow-up are shared across the organization.

Requirements

· Three or more years of successful experience in law-firm business development, legal marketing, community outreach, professional-services sales, healthcare liaison work, territory development or a related relationship-driven role.

· Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships from first contact through executive introduction and measurable conversion.

· Strong in-person communication, professional writing, follow-up and organizational skills.

· Working knowledge of CRM systems and comfort being held accountable to documented activity and outcome metrics.

· Ability to work independently in the field while communicating closely with the CEO, intake, marketing and operations teams.

· Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and ability to travel frequently throughout California.

· Availability for regular lunches, evening networking, weekend events and periodic overnight or out-of-state travel.

· Ability to transport, set up and break down event materials weighing up to approximately 35 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Strongly Preferred

· Professional fluency in English and Spanish.

· Existing familiarity with Plaintiff-side Personal Injury, attorney referral networks, healthcare or rehabilitation providers, the auto and transportation ecosystem, agricultural communities or California community organizations.

· Experience attending or supporting bar association, trial-lawyer, trade-show or nationwide legal events.

Experience creating territory plans, event ROI reports, referral-source pipelines or executive-level introductions
