Responsibilities
As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll be a leader in a high-performance culture.
You will...
  • Work closely with the Region Manager to ensure that company sales goals are achieved
  • Manage sales activities and implements the organization's overall strategy for multiple branches within the assigned region
  • Provide strategic focus and planning to develop and retain business
  • Work in the field managing, coaching and providing support to increase sales
  • Monitor performance of the sales teams and branches and re-allocates resources to improve overall results
  • Meet and exceeds sales targets through continuous growth of new accounts
  • Coach branch managers and sales representatives on sales techniques, procedures and standards to help achieve sales targets
  • Identify deficiencies, implements performance improvement plans and oversees progress
  • Work closely with the division leadership team to ensure sales growth and the success of the branches
  • Participate in recruitment, selection and the training of the sales staff within the region
  • Ensure implementation of company programs, initiatives and operational guidelines
  • Participate in manager meetings and training programs
  • Monitor regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
  • Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments
  • 3-5 years: sales management experience with a results-driven company
  • 3-5 years: P&L responsibility experience and an acute understanding of expense control strategies
  • 3-5 years: Demonstrated customer relations experience
  • 3-5 years: Proven ability to achieve profitable growth
  • 3-5 years: Mentoring, coaching, motivating and training

Physical Demands / Working Environment:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.
