The Regional Manager is a senior-level operational leader responsible for leading a team of mid-level managers and professionals including District Managers, Data Managers, and Project Engineers. This role is accountable for driving operational excellence and achieving key business objectives across safety, quality, delivery, cost & financial performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. The Regional Manager provides strategic direction, coaching, and support to their management team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence.

The Regional Manager must work collaboratively with the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs) to build a strong and successful relationship between Sales and Operations to grow the Region's business volume in the target markets.

This position will be responsible for the East Region (US) and Canada with a combined revenue volume between $30-50 million.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Service & Data based project management for water and sewer infrastructure monitoring through a team of direct-report mangers within multiple geographic districts.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback, support, and accountability.
  • Foster employee engagement, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Drive execution of company initiatives, strategic initiatives and operational standards across the region.
  • Own the regional financial performance and achievement of Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
    • Revenue Growth
    • Forecasting
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Gross Margin
    • Contribution Margin
    • Cost Management and Profitability
  • Accurately forecast performance, collaborate cross-functionally to refine assumptions, and enhance accuracy and reliability.
  • Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps at the District or Region level.
  • Utilize data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Represent the company in the region to suppliers, customers, and statutory bodies so as to promote the products, services, and activities of the organization.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service through the use of project work plans and necessary project reviews on every project within the region.
  • Review, modify and approve project pricing developed by the project managers for the region.
  • Support and participate in the development of and compliance with corporate policies, procedures, decisions and activities.
  • Complete special projects as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Civil Engineering or related field required; Graduate degree in business or engineering a plus
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in related industry
  • Minimum 3-5 years managing managers and leading multi-site or multi-territory operations
  • PMP certification required
  • Demonstrated success driving operational and financial performance across diverse teams
  • Experience managing P&L responsibilities and key financial metrics
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant leadership experience may be considered
  • Progressive background in civil/wastewater industry preferred.
  • Wastewater Collection Systems knowledge is essential.
  • Travel within the region required up to 25%

  • Strong financial acumen, including understanding of forecasting, revenue, gross margin, EBITA, working capital, accounts receivable, and budgeting

The compensation range for this position is $120,900.00 - $181,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
