Pipefitter: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Pipefitter to join our maintenance team within a refinery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This long-term position offers stability and a consistent work schedule of 40 hours per week, with a 4-day workweek (Monday through Thursday) and occasional overtime. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, possess NCCER certification, and demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding Isometric Drawings.

As an Industrial Pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and upgrading piping systems within the refinery. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, safely dismantling existing systems, accurately cutting and grinding pipes, making precise fits, and fabricating spools. You will also be involved in the installation of piping systems in various challenging environments, conducting hydro tests, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can work independently and collaboratively with team members and clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Demolition and Preparation:Safely dismantle existing piping systems as required for maintenance and upgrades.
  • Cutting and Grinding:Accurately cut and grind pipes to specified measurements, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Fitting and Fabrication:Make precise fits on various types of pipes, including underground, carbon, and alloy piping. Fabricate spools and verify field measurements, making necessary adjustments.
  • Installation:Perform bolt-ups, bull rigging, and installation of piping systems in diverse locations such as racks, vessels, towers, and confined spaces.
  • Testing:Conduct hydro tests to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems.
  • Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Tool Management:Maintain and manage own craft tools and a locking toolbox.
  • Work Environment:Capable of working in all weather conditions, at heights, and in tight or confined spaces.
  • Team Collaboration:Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively with fellow employees and clients, fostering a collaborative and non-confrontational work environment.
  • Flexibility:Willingness to work overtime hours and respond to call-outs as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ Field Experience as an Industrial Pipefitter
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • NCCER Pipefitter
  • Own craft tools and a locking toolbox
  • Self-motivated and able to work as a team or independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding ISOs and applying them to SOW
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Proficient skills in cutting, grinding, fitting, fabricating, installation of pipes & components
  • Experience with bull rigging and hydro testing.
  • Adherence to All Safety Policies and Procedures, with the ability to use “Stop Work Authority” when necessary.
