Job Overview:
Job Summary**
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking experienced and reliable Skilled Laborers to join our team in Donaldsonville, LA. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks to support construction and industrial projects, ensuring efficiency and safety on site.
Job Responsibilities**
* Assist skilled craft workers (e.g., pipefitters, welders, carpenters, electricians) with various tasks including material handling, site preparation, and tool support.
* Perform general labor duties such as digging, trenching, cleaning work areas, and operating hand and power tools.
* Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and other vehicles.
* Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and barricades as needed.
* Operate small equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, or other machinery after proper training and certification.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen efficiently and effectively.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.
Job Qualifications**
* Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a construction, industrial, or related labor role.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bending, stooping, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
* Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.
* Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
* Strong work ethic and reliability.
