Overview

Job Purpose

The ICE Data Services Operations team offers technical expertise, customer service, and innovative tools to support global functions throughout the organization. Systems, Network, Trade Operations, Internal IT Support, Information Security, Client Services, and Data Centers all enable our business to run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

In Global Business Operations (GBO), the primary purpose of this position is to research, analyze, interpret, transform, and present reference data for security and companylevel reference data for all global markets. GBO is responsible for maintaining reference data for millions of securities and companies, which is then incorporated into our clients' workflows to make investments, clear and settle trades, manage portfolios, analyze risk, maintain security master files, create client statements, meet regulatory requirements, and more.

As a member of the Reference Data Operations team within GBO, you will help ensure ICE provides customers with highly accurate and timely evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daytoday operations for a team or area within GBO, ensuring reference data accuracy, operational compliance, efficiency, and effective use of modern productivity and AIenabled tools where applicable.
  • Identify operational issues and develop plans to resolve them, including recommending automation or AIsupported process improvements to enhance quality and reduce risk.
  • Lead initiatives with strategic direction from senior leaders, including project planning, monitoring execution, and supporting technologydriven operational enhancements.
  • Contribute to adhoc research and process optimization efforts, leveraging data analysis and AIassisted insights where beneficial.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of reference data and how the team's deliverables impact broader organizational goals, including opportunities to integrate advanced technologies into workflows.
  • Suggest system enhancements and workflow improvements, including automation, quality controls, and efficiencydriven solutions enabled by emerging technologies.
  • Mentor and develop junior colleagues, promoting knowledge sharing and effective adoption of new tools and methodologies.
  • Interact frequently with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Monitor reference data systems, investigate data issues, and resolve operational challenges using analytical and diagnostic tools, including AIassisted capabilities where appropriate.
  • May manage work of junior analysts and oversee workflow without formal management responsibilities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, support, and problemresolution strategies to internal and external customers.
  • Participate in hiring, training, onboarding, and resource allocation.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA Finance, PGDM Finance, MCom, or MFM degree; or 7+ years' experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong decisionmaking and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to distil substantial amounts of information into meaningful takeaways.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to produce clientready communications.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, highpressure, dynamic environment.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI tools, automation frameworks, or the implementation of technologydriven process improvements within operations.
