Job Description C2's client, an independent creative marketing agency specializing in B2B strategy and results-driven campaigns, seeks a contract Video Editor to support their growing content production needs. This agency is at an inflection point, demand for short-form video has grown to the point where the team needs dedicated editing support to keep pace. This is a production-forward role: think social media reels, short-form brand videos, and campaign content, not feature-length work.

The volume is steady, the work is varied, and the right person will hit the ground running without a lot of hand-holding. Start Date: ASAP Duration: Contract, ongoing, 6-10 hours/week Location: Milwaukee, WI preferred; remote considered Compensation: $25-$33/hour Benefits: C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 consecutive business days are eligible for medical, dental, and optional vision insurance, life insurance and PTO accrual; 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match available for enrollment after 90 days. Technology: Talent must provide their own hardware and software.

Job Description This role exists because good video content is no longer optional for brands that want to compete, and this agency's clients expect it done well and done consistently. The Video Editor will work directly within the agency's production flow, turning briefs and raw footage into polished short-form content built for performance. This is not a creative director role.

It is a skilled production role that rewards people who are fast, precise, and proud of clean execution. If you thrive on a steady cadence of real work and can self-manage across multiple projects without losing quality, this is a strong fit. Responsibilities: Edit short-form video content for social media platforms, including reels and campaign clips Maintain brand consistency across all video deliverables Manage multiple edits simultaneously and deliver on deadline Incorporate client and team feedback efficiently through revision rounds Organize and maintain project files and asset libraries Requirements: Demonstrated experience editing short-form and social media video content Strong working knowledge of industry-standard video editing software, including Premier Pro and After Effect Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Reliable availability for 6-10 hours/week with capacity to scale Portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant work Nice to Have: Experience working within a marketing agency environment Motion graphics or basic animation capability Familiarity with B2B brand content Not your type of gig, but know someone who would be interested.
