Job Summary:
We are seeking a Reefer Mechanic to join our team at our Kansas City, Missouri location. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on reefer containers. This is a 1st shift position, working the hours of Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Overtime opportunities may be available based on the business needs of the shop.
Reefer Mechanic Duties:
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots complex issues with refrigeration units
  • Inspects equipment for defects and completes necessary repairs
  • Monitors temperatures of reefer containers
  • Performs routine maintenance on the reefer units and electrical systems
  • Maintains accurate record of work performed by entering all tasks into TMW software
