Job description

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Finished Goods Handler to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA on Weekend Night Shift.
As a Finished Goods Handler this candidate will be responsible to move product, pull orders, load trailers and coordinate trailer movement with local and outlying facilities. This position works Fri-Sun 6PM-6AM.
Key Responsibilities
  • Primary transporter, loader and unloader of bulk, returns, and finished product associated with the cardboard sorting and repack areas.
  • Supplies production lines with needed materials.
  • Helps prepare for production and makes adjustments as necessary for schedule.
  • Assists in shrink wrapping responsibilities of all items within Repack area
  • Will be asked to assist in relief of dumpers and other forklift operators.
  • Communicates production issues and opportunities to immediate supervisor.
  • Uses printers to place appropriate codes and prices on bags, labels, and cases.
  • Programs, troubleshoots, and makes adjustments on robot to ensure efficiency.
  • Checks bags for correct code date, price, and bag integrity.
  • Completes all manufacturing paperwork and data entry in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Operates, communicates and is proficient in Redzone.
  • Operates, communicates and is able to develop skills within our D365 system.
  • Responsible to follow all safety rules and work safely at all times.
  • Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position

Requirements:
  • Must be forklift certified, or have ability to become forklift certified.
  • Use of mobile software system.
  • Ability to cross train and learn other finished good responsibilities.
  • Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
  • Must adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices
