Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with at least 6 months of recent CT experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification.

Details
  • Work in a hospital CT Scan department
  • Typical staffing includes 4 techs plus a supervisor daily, with reduced weekend staffing of 3 day-shift techs and 1 night-shift tech
  • Night shift tech role is cross-trained to move between X-ray and CT as needed
  • Facility uses 2 in-house CT scanners (128 and 16 slice) and 1 mobile 64 slice unit
  • Meditech EMR is used
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
  • Typical procedures include CTA, ABD PELV, CAP, and PELV CAP scans
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months of current CT Tech experience required
  • ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Night shift experience with Trauma I or Trauma II level experience preferred
  • GE equipment, Meditech, and Centricity PACS experience preferred
  • Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently as a self-starter
  • Must be a team player
Additional Information
  • Perform CT imaging procedures including CTA, ABD PELV, CAP, and PELV CAP scans
  • Work collaboratively within a structured team of CT technologists and supervisory staff
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates will not be accepted
  • No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
