Security Officer/ Traffic Control – Weekend Shift (Watertown, MA)
Schedule: Fridays 4 PM -9PM , Saturday 11AM-7PM, and Sunday 11AM-6PM (20 HRS)
Additional shifts may be available for those interested.

Job Summary

Redcon Security is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to join our team in Watertown, MA. Your primary responsibility is to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and property. You will be responsible for protecting premises and assets while preventing unauthorized or inappropriate activity.
The ideal candidate has prior security or public safety experience, strong communication skills, and demonstrates a high level of integrity at all times.
Responsibilities

  • Patrol property and maintain strong visibility
  • Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized individuals gain access
  • Remove or escort trespassers when necessary
  • Monitor and review surveillance systems
  • Respond to reports of suspicious activity
  • Document daily activities and incidents clearly and accurately
Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Security Officer or similar role preferred
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Strong understanding of public safety and security protocols
  • Excellent written communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to operate surveillance and access-control equipment
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
