Job description

The core Success Factors include:Instill Trust and Value DifferencesPatient and Community Focus and CollaborateRESPONSIBILITIES: COBRE Responsibilities (70% time): Primarily responsible for supporting the COBRE Community Advisory Board (CAB), which includes coordinating bi-monthly meetings and facilitating regular communication with the CAB; support researchers in collaborating with the Community Advisory Board. Disseminate information regarding SPC Core activities via internet and social media Maintain record of SPC Core activities and assist in quarterly reporting. Coordinate weekly meetings, take and distribute minutes. Support the Core in conducting trainings, which may include researching in the topic area, coordinating planning meetings, and assisting in the development of curriculum. Under the guidance of Core Managers, may support COBRE-funded researchers in the following areas: Regulatory and administrative functions (i.e., institutional review board application and reporting) Questionnairesnterviews development Data collection (i.e., interview participants) Recruiting participants Literature searches RIDOH Research Responsibilities (30% time): Recruit participants Conduct participants interviews according to established protocols (in the community and via telephone) Update RedCap survey tool Maintains and completes all paperwork associated with study protocol Assist in writing reports; participate in the interpretation of results and preparation of manuscripts based on research performed Performs other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor's Degree in related field. Basic computer knowledge, i.e., being able to navigate through PC software, typing/word processing and completing spreadsheet/data entry. Ability to appropriately collect and store various biospecimens, in accordance to specific protocols EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years professional research experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and familiar with data collection management systems (i.e. Qualtrics, Redcap) Strong attention to detail and highly organized. Ability to work with a team and independently Experience and comfort in issues related to substance use, harm reduction, homelessness, chronic and/or infectious disease, mental health, and/or bilingual/bicultural and LGBTQ+ communities. This position will require working in the community. COVID-19 safety procedures and protocols are in place to minimize risk of exposure. Requires standing bending and sitting. Sufficient visual acuity and manual dexterity to use computer keyboard and other common office equipment. The COBRE on Opioids and Overdose seeks skilled, innovative personnel. Pay Range:

$41,537.60-$68,556.80
