CRNA position available at The Center for Specialized Surgery Center in beautiful Ft. Myers, FL!

The Center for Specialized Surgery is a convenient and state of the art outpatient surgical center designed with a focus on quality orthopedic surgical care for our patients. The 9,102-square-foot surgery center features three operating rooms, step-down recovery, recovery, nurse station, consultation room, reception, staff lounge and administrative offices.

Case Assignments

Predominately Ortho, Ortho Spine and Pain Management.

Shifts

Monday - Friday either 8s or 10s. No nights, weekends or holidays!

Our group's annual anesthesia volume is nearly 20,000 cases, and we work together in a care team model.

Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
