Summary

Energy Transfer is looking for an Associate Accountant to join our Intrastate Revenue accounting team in Houston, TX. We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally with measurement, scheduling, business development, contract administration and other related departments in completing the monthly close process.
  • Perform operational accounting duties including pipeline volume allocations, invoicing and settlement of customer contracts.
  • Assist with segment’s month end closing process including the entry and review of journal entries.
  • Provide customer support and service.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests.
  • Performs ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

  • Experience: 0-2 years
  • Required Skills: Proficiency in Excel required
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Alteryx, Power BI is a plus

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP, QPTM, Horizon is preferred
