Job description

JOB DUTIES

  • Responsible for managing all damaged cases.
  • Sort and repack cases of damaged product.
  • Maintain flow of product through rework process.
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Fill and maintain all on-site vending machines.
  • Assist management in implementation and monitoring of all recycling initiatives.
  • Complete appropriate warehouse paperwork regarding reworked product.
  • Adheres to all company safety rules to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Provide backup support as forklift operator as needed.
  • Assist with dunnage as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires a High school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma
  • Ability to obtain forklift license and operate manual/power pallet jacks
  • A valid NC Driver License is preferred
  • Reading and math skills needed to ensure accuracy of inventory levels, pricing, etc.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds over shoulders frequently
  • Ability to lift CO2 cylinders occasionally (up to 55 pounds)
  • Ability to push/pull product frequently
  • Ability to walk/stand at least 8 hours/daily
  • Ability to obtain forklift license and operate manual/power pallet jacks
  • Must adhere to all safety programs
  • Maintains a professional relationship with co-workers, customers, and the public
  • Maintain confidentially in financial matters
