Job description

MACHINE OPERATOR 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Machine Operator for a company based in Fairmount, GA. This role involves operating grinding equipment to process, recycle, and prepare raw materials for production. This position ensures materials meet quality specifications, maintains equipment performance, and supports safe and efficient plant operations. This position is full-time temporary. 
 
Pay Rate 
$16.00 per hour 
 
Schedule and Hours 
Monday to Thursday-6:00am to 4:00pm & Friday- 6:00am to 12:00pm
 
Setter Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate grinding machines and related equipment to process raw materials and recycled products according to production requirements. 
• Monitor material quality and machine performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain efficient operations.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from grinding areas using designated equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance on grinding equipment to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and assist in achieving production goals.
 
Setter Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements 
• Pulmonary Function test is required. 
• Previous experience operating industrial, manufacturing, or grinding equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. (in office assessment will be conducted)
