Job description

K&S Tire Recycling in Chicago Heights, IL is hiring dependable Yard & Warehouse Workers for our tire recycling operation. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position working indoors and outdoors around trucks and industrial equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload tires from trucks and trailers
  • Move, roll, stack and organize tires by hand or dolly
  • Sort and grade used tires
  • Move scrap and recyclable materials
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas
  • Assist warehouse, yard and production operations
  • Work safely around forklifts, loaders, conveyors and machinery

Requirements
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, push, pull and perform physical work throughout the shift
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying temperatures
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Minimum 1 year warehouse, tire, recycling, automotive, construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or general labor experience is required.
