Foster Recruitment & Outreach Manager

Salary: $50,000-$55,000

The Foster Recruitment & Outreach Manager is an energetic, outgoing and resourceful relationship builder who is passionate about strengthening Indiana's foster care community. This role is a high-energy, self-starting professional who enjoys meeting new people, presenting to groups, organizing events, and serving as an advocate for children and families in foster care.

Whether you're an early-career professional or a recent college graduate with a strong sales-oriented personality and a desire to make a difference, this position offers an exciting opportunity to build meaningful community partnerships and recruit quality foster parents throughout the state.

Working both independently and collaboratively, the Foster Recruitment & Outreach Manager will develop, coordinate, and implement outreach and marketing initiatives designed to recruit, develop, and continually engage quality foster parents. This role will manage corporate and community partnerships that support recruitment efforts of The Villages programs and strengthen the foster care network. The recruitment of foster parents and other program participants is critical to the success of the agency and our mission.

This position supports the agencys mission, vision, goals, and objectives.

This position requires availability to work some evenings/weekends, as well as travel throughout the state of Indiana.

Essential Functions:

  • Independently engage the community members and organizations to identify potential foster parents and strengthen awareness of the foster care needs.

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute regional recruitment and outreach strategies designed to attract foster parents and program participants.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to organize and lead community presentations, public speaking engagements, informational sessions, and tabling events.

  • Cultivate relationships with churches, schools, corporate partners, and civic groups to expand foster parent recruitment efforts.

  • Create and maintain a database of outreach contacts, prospective caregivers, and community partners.

  • Track engagement and reporting metrics to measure effectiveness and progress toward goals.

  • Stay informed on foster care policies, trends and best practices to ensure outreach efforts remain relevant and impactful.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 1 year of experience in sales, community outreach, program coordination, or related role.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Indiana.
