What You'll Do
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you'll be at the center of the hiring process-partnering with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, universities, agencies, and community organizations to attract and hire top talent.
Talent Sourcing & Candidate Engagement
  • Source and identify qualified candidates through various channels.
  • Review resumes and help shortlist candidates for open positions.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings using standardized interview guides.
  • Initiate first contact with prospective candidates and maintain engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and ensure accurate status updates in Workday.
  • Verify and track candidate sourcing information during onboarding.

Interview Coordination
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Send interview confirmations and follow-up communications.
  • Partner with hiring managers to gather interview feedback and keep hiring processes moving efficiently.
  • Ensure candidates have a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment journey.

Recruiting Operations
  • Create and submit requisition requests within Workday.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting documentation.
  • Support temporary-to-permanent employee conversions.
  • Assist with drug screen and background check processes.
  • Help keep recruiting workflows organized, compliant, and efficient.

Recruitment Marketing & Social Media
  • Post and promote open positions across job boards, social media channels, company pages, and state employment websites.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to increase visibility and candidate engagement.
  • Research competitor hiring activity and market trends.
  • Support innovative sourcing strategies that help attract top talent.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Generate recruitment metrics and hiring status reports.
  • Prepare weekly open requisition reports and identify aging positions.
  • Support vendor and agency management by maintaining recruiting partner information and contracts.
  • Deliver insights that help drive hiring decisions and recruiting effectiveness.

Pre-Onboarding & New Hire Experience

  • Partnering with HR, IT, and hiring managers to ensure new hires are ready on day one.
  • Coordinating equipment requests and onboarding logistics.
