Position Overview

The Recruitment Operations Specialist - University Relations and Logistics plays a vital role in supporting recruitment operations while leading university relations, event logistics, and digital engagement. This role blends strategy, creativity, and execution to ensure recruiting events run smoothly and candidates feel excited about joining Spartanburg Regional.

You will collaborate closely with recruiters, leaders, colleges, and community partners while managing logistics, data, content, and campaign execution. If you enjoy wearing many hats and seeing your work come to life at events and online, this role offers endless variety and impact.

Work Schedule: M-F, 8 am - 5 pm; with additional hours as required to support events and participate in oncall rotations.

What You Will Do

Collegiate and Community Outreach

  • Build and manage a 120-day roadshow calendar each semester
  • Serve as the primary digital and in person contact for university career centers and student organizations
  • Build strong relationships with deans, instructors, and clinical coordinators
  • Coordinate staffing, food orders, swag, and packing logistics for campus visits and events
  • Track outreach activities and prepare reporting

Event Logistics and Planning

  • Research and secure venues for career fairs, networking events, and recruiting experiences
  • Coordinate schedules, staffing, and logistics to ensure seamless execution
  • Represent Spartanburg Regional at events and actively engage prospective candidates
  • Create digital materials for pre-event and post event communication
  • Track event outcomes and participation

In addition, the Recruitment Operations team has a shared expectation of supporting the team mission with cross-coverage in the additional areas below when needed.


Shared Responsibilities
SWAG and Materials Management
  • Source branded merchandise and promotional items
  • Manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Track orders and maintain accurate inventory records

Social Media and Digital Engagement

  • Create and manage a 120-day social media calendar
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to create engaging content
  • Coordinate filming, editing, posting, and engagement monitoring
  • Create digital collateral that highlights culture, careers, and events
  • Participate in on call social media rotation for after-hours engagement

Recruitment Campaigns and Strategy

  • Plan and coordinate multi-channel recruitment campaigns for hiring events and talent initiatives
  • Build two-month campaign timelines including email, text, and digital content
  • Align messaging with recruitment priorities and employer branding

Data, Systems, and Operations Support

  • Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Track candidate pipelines, RSVPs, and event participation using ATS and lead systems
  • Support recruiter workflows and ensure a seamless candidate experience
  • Provide financial administrative support including invoice processing and budget tracking

Team Engagement and Culture

  • Support team celebrations, recognition, and morale building activities
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative recruitment culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned
