Recruiter - Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recruitment

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in our Clarks Summit, PA office. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about connecting mission-driven professionals with meaningful careers.
Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring qualified Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other critical positions that support Beacon's residential group homes. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our homes are staffed with compassionate, dependable professionals who provide exceptional care to the individuals we serve.
The ideal candidate has experience managing high-volume recruitment, building strong talent pipelines, partnering with operational leaders, and delivering an outstanding candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other assigned positions.
  • Source qualified candidates using job boards, social media, community partnerships, employee referrals, career fairs, and other recruiting channels.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone and virtual interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
  • Extend employment offers and guide candidates through the pre-employment and onboarding process.
  • Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support ongoing hiring needs for residential group homes.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and adjust sourcing strategies to meet hiring goals.
  • Ensure recruiting practices remain compliant with applicable employment laws, Joint Commission standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Represent Beacon professionally at hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach activities.
  • Promote Beacon's mission, culture, and employment brand to prospective candidates.

Education and Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of recruiting experience, and one to three years of experience in the HR/Management field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred (in human resources, organizational development, marketing, business, or a similar field is preferred).
  • A background in mental health or healthcare is a plus.
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language.
  • Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within BSLS programs.
  • Ability to use office equipment, including BSLS information technology systems.

Hours:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
