Job description

โ€ŠExecutive Assistant to the CEO
Are you someone who sees what needs to happen next and takes care of it before anyone has to ask?
Do you enjoy bringing order to busy calendars, full inboxes, competing priorities, and countless important details?
Are you looking for a trusted partnership with a CEO where you can make a visible impact across the business?
Turning the Corner HR is seeking an experienced, proactive Executive Assistant to support our Owner and CEO. This role also helps coordinate speaking engagements, team operations, front-office administration, and business compliance for our growing HR consulting firm.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who anticipates needs, exercises sound judgment, works independently, and enjoys both high-level executive support and hands-on operational work.
What You'll Do
  • Manage the CEO's calendar, inbox, correspondence, travel, expenses, and priorities.
  • Coordinate speaking engagements, presentations, podcasts, events, and materials.
  • Track sales leads, proposals, contracts, contacts, and CRM updates.
  • Organize team meetings, take notes, coordinate logistics, and maintain shared calendars and dashboards.
  • Manage general inquiries, coworking locations, mail, deposits, supplies, and vendors.
  • Support employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding.
  • Maintain compliance deadlines, corporate filings, renewals, and recurring administrative requirements.
  • Create and maintain checklists, trackers, and processes that keep work moving.
What We're Looking For
  • 3 to 5 years of executive assistant or senior administrative support experience.
  • Experience directly supporting a CEO, business owner, or senior executive.
  • Strong calendar and inbox management skills.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, organization, and follow-through.
  • Strong business writing, proofreading, and document-formatting skills.
  • High proficiency with Google Workspace and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without close supervision.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and availability for recurring responsibilities in Boulder and Denver.

Experience in consulting, professional services, human resources, recruiting, sales support, or a small business is a plus.
Position Details
  • Salary: $70,000 to $74,000 annually
  • Benefits: Medical and dental insurance, 401(k), and unlimited PTO
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Work arrangement: Remote-first
  • Location: Candidates must live within reasonable commuting distance of Boulder and Denver
  • In-person needs: Monthly Denver team meetings, Boulder mail pickup, local errands, and occasional event support

Turning the Corner HR helps organizations create better workplaces through HR consulting, recruiting, leadership development, career transition services, and culture support.
