Job Title: Associate Attorney - Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Model: Onsite to hybrid after onboarding (Santa Ana, CA)
Base Salary: $100,000-$160,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are hiring an Associate Attorney for a boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm in Santa Ana.

This is an outstanding opportunity for attorneys ranging from recently licensed first-year associates to experienced litigators with several years of experience. Whether you're looking to build your litigation foundation or continue growing your practice, you'll gain hands-on experience across all phases of plaintiff personal injury litigation while working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment.

Whether your background is in plaintiff personal injury, insurance defense, criminal law, or general civil litigation, we're looking for someone who enjoys advocacy, is eager to learn, and wants to build a long-term career in litigation.

Must-Have Experience

We're open to attorneys ranging from first-year associates to several years of litigation experience.

You must have:

  • Active California Bar license
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
  • Litigation experience as an attorney, post-bar law clerk, certified law clerk, or judicial extern is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to grow as a litigator

What You Will Do
  • Assist with and progressively manage a litigation caseload
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, mediation briefs, and other legal documents
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance carriers
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys to develop litigation strategy
  • Assist with trial preparation and case resolution
  • Build the skills necessary to independently manage complex litigation matters

Compensation

Base salary is $100,000-$160,000, depending on experience.

Compensation will be based on your litigation experience, background, and overall qualifications. Attorneys ranging from first-year associates to experienced litigators are encouraged to apply.
