Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. As a Recruiter at MSI Express, you will work closely with department leaders to understand their hiring needs, develop creative sourcing strategies, and ensure that we attract and retain the very best candidates in the industry. From production roles to corporate positions, you'll be involved in the full recruitment lifecycle, delivering a seamless and positive candidate experience while aligning with our company's mission of delivering high-quality, innovative food products to a growing list of Fortune 500 CPG companies and entrepreneurs from our network of manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing Candidates: Utilize a variety of recruiting tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals) to identify and attract qualified candidates for salary-based roles at multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct thorough screenings of applicants to ensure their qualifications and experience align with job requirements. Schedule and conduct initial interviews, assessing candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Candidate Presentation: Present qualified candidates to internal hiring managers, providing detailed summaries of candidates' qualifications, experience, and interview feedback.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and the unique needs of each manufacturing facility, ensuring a strong match between candidates and positions.
  • Job Offer Management: Assist with the creation and extension of job offers, ensuring clear communication of salary, benefits, and terms of employment to candidates.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Track recruitment progress and provide regular updates to the TA team and hiring managers regarding candidate pipelines, interview statuses, and time-to-fill metrics.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience, regardless of the hiring outcome.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all recruiting activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain accurate records and provide reports on recruiting activities as required.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment or for salary-based positions.
  • Skills: Strong ability to source and engage candidates using various recruitment tools and techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing roles and operations is a plus. Understanding of salary job market trends and compensation structures.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), MS Office Suite, and online job boards. Experience with Workday is highly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
