Role Summary

The Physician Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and placing toptier Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and CRNAs in locum tenens and permanent positions nationwide. This role combines consultative sales, relationship building, and strategic sourcing in a fastpaced, competitive environment.

The ideal candidate excels at building rapport, managing multiple searches simultaneously, and navigating complex candidate needs and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and recruit Physicians, NPs, PAs, and CRNAs for locum tenens (temporary) assignments and permanent positions nationwide.

  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and outbound campaigns.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active candidates to meet ongoing client demand.

  • Screen candidates for relevant experience, licensure, certifications, malpractice history, and credentialing requirements.

  • Maintain consistent communication with active candidates to support engagement, retention, and redeployment.

  • Partner closely with account managers to align candidate delivery with client needs.

  • Accurately manage documentation, candidate notes, and tasks in SalesForce (ATS) to ensure visibility and team collaboration.

  • Support operational functions such as credentialing, compliance, contracts, and scheduling when needed.

  • Analyze market trends and provider supply dynamics to refine recruitment strategies.

  • Contribute to staffing projections, planning, and regular updates with leadership.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous professional development.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates from diverse medical backgrounds.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Experience in outbound recruiting, marketing outreach, and candidate re-engagement strategies.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across phone, email, and virtual platforms.
