*** Please note that this is a HYBRID role, requiring this person to work at our Cottonwood Heights office in SLC three days a week. ***

Job Summary
The Field Recruiter conducts various recruiting processes and works closely with the Hiring Managers, District Managers, District Learning Managers and other Operations employees to complete recruiting functions. The Recruiter navigates recruiting efforts for Extra Space Storage for assigned divisions under the direction of the Recruiting Team Lead.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide recruiting support for assigned divisions by partnering with Hiring Managers and related management to develop, evaluate and implement effective strategies and high-quality processes to recruit and attract top talent to Extra Space Storage
Provide training to managers and others involved in the hiring processes as needed
Develop and manage effective recruiting tools such as competency modeling, advertisement practices, online/internet recruiting and screening
Develop and manage recruiting programs including on campus, internships, off-site efforts (i.e., job fairs, trade shows, etc.)
Maintain and implement the hiring processes of internal candidates, minimizing administrative time and efforts while ensuring placement of high-quality candidates
Proactively identify areas for improvement
Ensure that Extra Space Storage remains a great place to work through recruiting efforts, competency modeling, diversity, training and digitization
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Minimum two years' recruiting experience
Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and experience in various HR functions including staffing/recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, employment laws, and regulations
Demonstrate Microsoft Office suite skills
Strong business acumen, change management skills, organizational and project management skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Performs sedentary work in an office environment with limited lifting (less than 10 pounds) or walking required. Close visual acuity required to perform work at computer terminal. No exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Requires repetitive typing motion, talking, hearing, grasping and feeling.
