Location: School-Based Program Sites in the Phoenix area:


St. John Bosco Catholic School: Monday-Friday: 3:00PM-6:00PM

St. Theresa Catholic School: Monday-Friday: 3:00PM-6:00PM

St. Francis Xavier School: Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-7:50AM and 3:00PM-6:00PM



Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadershipย ย 


Schedule: Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)



This position may work at any of the above locations in a floating capacity to support the needs of our programs and should be comfortable working at any of the sites.ย 


Position Overviewย

As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive.ย This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.ย 


Key Responsibilities
Student Engagement & Supportย 

  • Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.ย 
  • Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.ย 
  • Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.ย 
  • Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.ย 

Program Deliveryย 

  • Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.ย 
  • Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.ย 
  • Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.ย 
  • Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.ย 

Program Operationsย 

  • Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.ย 
  • Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.ย 
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.ย 
  • Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.ย 

Qualificationsย 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.ย 
  • Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.ย 
  • Must meet one of the following requirements: (1) 6 months experience or 12 college credits (2) Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or (3) NAC, CDA or CCP Credential
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.ย 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.ย 
  • Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.ย 
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.ย 

Physical Requirementsย 

  • Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.ย 
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.ย 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.ย
