Job Summary:
As a Program Coordinator you will assist program management in day-to-day program operations and coordinate the provision of client services. You will recruit clients into the program; develop services to meet clients' needs and monitor and maintain all client file documentation/reports. You will review, facilitate and manage client referrals and the intake/discharge process, meet with clients and develop case management goals, monitor progress on goals and housing plans, and communicate regularly with professionals and outside agencies involved in client transition regarding client progress. You will provide work direction and training to program staff and volunteers, facilitate weekly client groups and/or client recreation activities, build new relationships with community organizations and employers and promote/represent the program at community gatherings. You will be responsible for staff scheduling, training and orientation, and filling in shifts.
Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with youth or individual experiencing homelessness preferred.
  • A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and a Motor Vehicle Check.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to demonstrate confidentiality and professional boundaries.
