About the Recreation Assistant Role

As a Recreation Assistant at the Westchester Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our patients and residents. Recreation Assistant Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and implementing recreational activities, social events, and outings for patients and residents

  • Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure activities align with individual patient needs and goals

  • Provide support with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed

  • Assist with mealtime, including setting tables, serving patients, and cleaning up
