POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and passionate Recreation Technician. Temporary full-time position, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with evenings and weekends as needed.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the leisure manager in their duties
  • Carry out all related tasks requested by the recreation manager
  • Collaborate with the different departments of the residence to make things easier for everyone
  • Disseminate the activities calendar to residents
Recreation
  • Animate and oversee supervision during the activities
  • Decorating the premises for special events
  • Promote activities related to the residents
  • Welcome the residents and invite them to participate in the activities
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Training related to the leisure sector (an asset)
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (an asset)
  • Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar position
