Job description

The Recreation Activities Coordinator plays a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by organizing and executing a wide variety of recreational and resort activities. This role blends creativity, guest interaction, and operational coordination to bring the resort's activity offerings to life.

The Coordinator will be responsible for planning and scheduling daily and seasonal activities, developing new and engaging programs, and ensuring all activities are set up and taken down safely and efficiently. This position also oversees clear and accurate communication of all activities, including creating the resort's activity guide, updating internal communication channels, and ensuring guests receive timely information about events happening throughout the property.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working directly with guests, and brings a blend of creativity, organization, and hospitality to the role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate resort activities, special events.
  • Create, develop, and innovate activity concepts that enhance the guest experience and reflect the resort's brand.
  • Coordinate set up, and break down all activity spaces, equipment, and materials in a safe, efficient, and organized manner.
  • Draft, update, and distribute the resort's activity guide, ensuring program information is accurate, engaging, and guest-friendly.
  • Communicate activity details across departments-Front Office, Recreation, Food & Beverage, and others-to ensure seamless execution.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, enthusiastic manner that promotes participation and builds memorable experiences.
  • Assist with activity reservations, guest inquiries, and overall recreation support as needed.
  • Support the recreation team during peak periods, including holidays, weekends, and special events.
