  • Maintain meticulous electronic documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and related notes to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in regular professional development to stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques, interventions, and best practices in mental health care.

In this role, you will primarily serve adolescents and adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Your expertise will allow you to establish a meaningful therapeutic alliance with clients, empowering them to navigate their emotional struggles and foster lasting change.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related field is required.
  • Current and active LPCC licensure in California is essential.
  • Demonstrated experienceโ€”at least two yearsโ€”in a therapeutic setting, catering specifically to the mental health needs of adolescents and adults.
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with organizational abilities, allowing you to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with computerized documentation systems is necessary to efficiently manage client records and session notes.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a substance abuse treatment environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively, with superior time management and multitasking skills.
