Queen Tower Recovery Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our esteemed rehabilitation facility located in Bakersfield, California. At Queen Tower Recovery Center, we specialize in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy within a state-of-the-art 5000 square foot sports medicine facility. Our commitment to delivering top-quality care is reflected in our collaborative environment, where our team of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) work closely to promote patient wellness. We primarily cater to a clientele with private medical insurance, emphasizing personalized strategies to assist in their recovery journeys.

Our facility provides a supportive and innovative setting where evidence-based practices are at the forefront of patient care. The clinic operates onsite, and our work environment fosters teamwork, professional development, and a patient-centered focus. You will work a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

• Conduct initial patient assessments to identify objectives and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific conditions.
• Manage a steady caseload, averaging one patient per hour, while ensuring efficient and attentive care delivery.
• Implement diverse rehabilitation techniques, facilitating progress through manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and functional training.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies, promoting alternative solutions to medications and surgeries whenever possible.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes, adapting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Document care plans, treatment sessions, and patient progress accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate and support patients, fostering an encouraging environment focused on achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients seeking recovery from injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with individuals committed to regaining their mobility and improving their overall quality of life through personalized therapy interventions.

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with a clean record free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic rehabilitation practices and manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient tracking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and collaborative team members.

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized exercise regimens that cater to diverse patient needs.
• Demonstrated ability in delivering conservative treatments that minimize the need for surgical interventions.

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
