Job description

Job Summary

Transcend ED, a leading behavioral health provider specializing in eating disorder treatment, is seeking a fully licensed, trauma-informed therapist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, the clinician will provide individual therapy supporting clients in their recovery journey from eating disorders in our Residential Treatment Centers in Monroe. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement a private practice. The compensation is up to $75 per 50 minute session / 10 mins allotted for the completion of clinical documentation (EMR provided). You must commit to 3 days a week for 4-hour shift.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy to clients in Residential levels of care.
  • Serve as a Primary Therapist, responsible for treatment planning, documentation, and family communication.
  • Coordinate weekly with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Complete all clinical documentation in a timely and compliant manner.

Requirements

  • Valid LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or licensed Psy.D. / Ph.D.
  • At least 2 years of Trauma-informed therapy experience is required post-licensure.
  • Eating disorder experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and case management skills were required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Must be available for weekly participation on the treatment team meetings.

Position Details

  • Status: Independent Contractor- 1099
  • Schedule: 3 days per week (4 hour shift to work with 3 clients)
  • Compensation: $75 per hour, BOE
