Head Start Youth Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time position in Columbus, Georgia. This full-time position is set within a remote work environment, allowing social workers the flexibility to deliver services from their home offices while maintaining connectivity with clients through virtual sessions. Our community health clinic collaborates with a variety of facilities across the United States, creating a supportive network for both our professionals and the families they serve.

• Deliver personalized counseling services, including individual and couples therapy, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health and substance use issues.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and goals.
• Manage case documentation and ensure timely completion of clinical notes, meeting regulatory and ethical standards.
• Utilize a billing service for managing claims, client accounts receivable, verifying benefits and eligibility, and establishing payment plans on behalf of clients.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with clients to schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for follow-up sessions.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance service delivery and share insights on client progress and treatment adaptations.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse range of clients, including youth, adults, and families referred to our outpatient services. You will encounter various clinical presentations, which may require specialized approaches to treatment. This role is designed for a social worker who is adept at creating supportive therapeutic relationships and exhibiting cultural competence when working with a varied clientele.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker is mandatory.
• Clinical social work experience, preferably through a master’s level practicum or post-graduate work, totaling at least four years.

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and interventions, with an ability to adapt to individual client needs.
• Familiarity with case management systems and electronic health records will be considered a plus.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering an annual income between USD 75,000 and USD 95,000, plus potential bonuses. Additional benefits include:
