Driver/Warehouse Associate
SmartHire is looking for a Driver/Warehouse Associate to join a client in the Sumner area. Ideal candidate will have driving, warehouse, and customer service background. Valid WA State license, clean driving record and ability to lift 50lbs needed. You will be loading/unloading, operating a forklift and working within the Warehouse as well. This is a full time, direct hire role that gets you home every night!

The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for transporting materials between company and customer locations while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role includes shipping and receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and material handling to ensure products are accurately processed, stored, and delivered in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely load, unload, transport, and deliver materials to designated locations.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Compare shipment information against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other documentation for accuracy.
• Record inventory transactions and shipment details in the company's inventory management system.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Route materials to the appropriate departments or storage locations.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain adequate levels of shipping supplies and warehouse materials.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with general warehouse and administrative tasks, including filing and document organization, as needed.
