JOB OVERVIEW

The Lead Records Analyst is responsible for the processing and management of engine records and to assure conformity to customer specifications. This includes management of piece part/module/engine assembly records. Additionally, the Lead Records Analyst ) is responsible for the organization of records, CD's and data storage boxes to ensure for quick access, information retrieval and expedited deliveries when necessary.โ€ฏโ€ฏ

Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming records review for engines and accessories to determine status regarding Manufacturerโ€™s maintenance requirements, Services Bulletins / Modifications, and Airworthiness Directives.
  • Receive, screen, and process information on articles being processed for repair/alteration.
  • Organize outgoing records packages, Form 337 and 8130ยท3 for engines and Modules.โ€ฏ
  • Manage work order priorities for records completion within the department to align with Production TAT requirements.โ€ฏ
  • Audit all received paperwork for complete and accurate documentation of work performed. Notes deficiencies and obtains corrective action for submitted records.โ€ฏ
  • Verify AD, SB and other work scope compliance on actual work performed.โ€ฏ
  • Manage electronic data storage.โ€ฏ
  • Set up life-limited parts tracking documents.โ€ฏโ€ฏ
  • Prepare Life Limited Parts trace for continued usage.โ€ฏ
  • Prepare Life Limited Parts trace for final approval.
  • Prepare Master On/Off Log reports for engine shop visit.
  • Maintain files of completed work orders and inspection forms in such a manner that the file pertaining to a specific item repaired can be readily located for review.โ€ฏ
  • Ensure that all necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders used by the repair station are properly executed by the personnel responsible.โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏ โ€ฏ
  • Oversee maintenance records for field maintenance interventions.โ€ฏโ€ฏ
  • Participate in special projects as deemed valuable to the Department and Companyโ€ฏ

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associateโ€™s or bachelorโ€™s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in records management within engine maintenance (MRO) environment
  • Proven experience performing the key responsibilities listed above with a high level of accuracy and consistency
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to engine records
  • Advanced organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn additional systems
  • Ability to work independently and serve as a subject matter resource for the team
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Quantum Control ERP
  • Prior experience supporting audits or handling complex record reviews
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to junior team members (no direct reports)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements
  • High level of accountability and follow-through
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Job Demands:

Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
