Job description

Nexstar Media Inc is looking for a Digital Producer to join our KOLR/Ozarks FOX/KOZL Production staff.
The Digital Producer will be responsible for organizing content for use with our digital platform, and coordinating between the Production, News, Lifestyle, Promotions, and Digital departments.
  • Helps maintain the recording and production schedules for our original programming
  • Leads and assist in the creation and production of new digital shows, videos and specials
  • Coordinates with multiple departments to ensure a smooth operational workflow
  • Ensures website, social media pages and other platforms are up-to-date with latest content
  • Creates regular content for social media and broadcast promotion
  • Coordinates with the digital department to create a publishing schedule for original content
  • Helps to operate and train technical staff on use of OBS and VMIX software
  • Helps to maintain and improve the quality of our in-house production, and help to identify new opportunities for content
  • Tests equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
  • High school diploma
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience with online platforms and social media applications, as well as general proficiency with computers and editing systems
  • Experience with OBS Studio, Adobe Suite and Canva preferred
  • Experience in content creation, broadcast television or a related field preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Media Production or Communications, or a related field preferred. Must be able to handle strict deadlines. Candidate should be a problem solver and quick thinker to resolve existing issues and to work around problems that arise during live content creation.
