We are seeking a hands-on technical, creative, detail-oriented Immersive Media Studio Operator to drive our real-time virtual sets, augmented reality (AR), and extended reality (XR) workflows. In this role, you will work with Ross Video Voyager VR platform and Unreal Engine during live-to-tape and real-time broadcast productions. As well as other 3D software applications such as Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Workplace Learning: Work cross-departmentally to contribute to internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions to advance staff proficiency in immersive media software and industry best practices for AR/XR/VR production.

  • Asset Management: log, track, and report technical malfunctions or equipment failures to the engineering team.

  • Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience operating within a live television control room, multi-camera studio, or media production environment.

  • Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in Ross Video Voyager graphics platform and Unreal Engine. As well as proficiency in 3D software applications such as Cinema 4D, Blender or similar programs. Knowledgeable in operating broadcast switchers, digital audio consoles, studio cameras, teleprompters, and media encoding/streaming software. High proficiency in Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud tools (especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Frame.io) is strongly preferred.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate technical workflows patiently and clearly to community members of diverse technical backgrounds.

  • Grace Under Pressure: Ability to work well with tight timelines and deadlines, and thrive in pressure-driven production environments.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods during long production schedules.

  • Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver production equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends based on studio production slates.

Preferred Qualifications:
