What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a recording assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Recording Assistant, you need a basic understanding of audio engineering principles, familiarity with music production processes, and at least a high school diploma or relevant training. Proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools or Logic Pro, as well as knowledge of studio hardware and signal flow, is typically required.
